We drove over from Bend for this one, Aaron O. and I. First time at the McKenzie Ballroom, (I'm sure I saw a movie or two there back when it was a movie

theater in the 70's.)
Steve Kimock was fantastic all night long, 3 sets that went to 4 am in the morning! Wow... No, Jimmy Herring was not part of this show, would've been great if he was, but no.
SUPER COOL CROWD, I stood in line for a signed poster by local artist SamonBerry Mariposa, I still have the poster!

This show clips often, large portions of almost every song, and there's hiss during the quiet areas. Sounds like someone bumped the levels WAY up. Sorry
...
I took the time to download the whole show. Too bad, the music is very good but my meters are living in the red.

Sweet sounding recording. I was amazed to find this show here. It was an evening to remember in sringfield. It's great to relive it with a solid recording.

No clipping. No brickwalls. I just downloaded track 1 again to make sure, and so far so good. Did you download the whole show ZIP file? Maybe that
...
is corrupted but the individual files aren't? Try downloading track 1 (Rainbow's Cadillac) and tell us what you see/hear. Note that the levels do ride pretty high for a non-SBD. Probably went through some compression at some point?
Oh and by the way, I don't think Jimmy Herring was at this show. It sounds like Terry Haggerty to me.

I don't know who messed this up, but I doubt that Jimmy did. The levels are all clipped (brickwalling), there is distortion and TONS of hiss.
I just ... re-downloaded d1t04 and opened it up in cool edit pro. The levels are too high. They are clipped. There is hiss between some songs. I think that there are analog gens on this source.
I just transferred a Dat cloned from Jimmy Stiefel's master and it sounds MUCH better. The WAV form looks better too. I'll upload it today.

I was stage security for this show and was blown away by the music. This show was not with the normal lineup of KVHW. Ray White was missing and replaced
...
by Jimmy Herring for this show. The entire show is instrimental and rocks from one tune to another. I highly recommend this concert.
